Help No Signal since update

Hey there, I currently own a Nexus 4. I was currently running 4.3 but 2 days ago I got an official update for 4.4 KitKat. I did the update and everything was fine until I noticed I had no signal. My phone went on to tell me that I don't even have a sim inside of it. I've reset the phone, Turned it on and off, Put different sims inside and have even tried putting a Factory Image onto it but I was too confused. So what should I do?

Thank you in advance!

Bring it into the carrier's store. You can't even read the SIM to see if there's anything on it. A lot of what needs to be done to diagnose the problem has to be done with their equipment or by their people.

If you have tried different, known good, working, activated SIMs and none of them are being recognized in your Nexus, and you have installed the latest full factory image that wipes everything (didn't edit the bat file to keep data form being wiped), then things are bad as there isn't much more you can do that I am aware of other than look and see if it is still under warranty.
