Help No sim card indicator/not working

Lurker
Hi,

I need help.

Just got this white Samsung galaxy s2 for t-mobile in 2 weeks, and it has been working fine with T-mobile sim card until now. It hasn't been working for the last few days, no matter I tried different T-mobile sim card, get 2 new one from T-mobile, still not working, and T-mobile won't replace it since I didn't buy from T-mobile (bought it on craiglist).
T-mobile on line wouldn't do anything, T-mobile store said it's the phone problem.

Tried different working sims card, still not working, hard reset 3 times still not working. I don't know what to do now.

Please help if you can.

Thank you in advance

Several suggestions.

1) Try jiggling the SIM card and peer inside to see if there is anything obviously blocking the connection.
2) Find some friends with T-Mobile phones and try their SIM cards. If none of them work, then it's the phone.
3) Contact Samsung regarding their warranty. I believe you have a one-year warranty directly from Samsung, but I could have misremembered that.

Yes, I have tried all of that, and couple new sim cards too, but nothing works.
Just want to see anything out there, and I'll contact Samsung for sure.

Thanks and hope someone else out there have the same problem with a solution.

found out that this phone is on T-mobile black list since I bought it on Craigslist, no longer can be use with T-mobile according to T-mobile & Samsung after sent to Samsung.
