Help "No Sim Inserted" VZW nexus Help!

For the last coupled days my phone will just randomly stop recognizing that it has a sim inserted. It will tell me no "no sim inserted" at the lock screen and I cant get texts or phone calls. If I pop the sim out and back in it will be fine for a few hours then drop again. Sometimes its 20 minutes, sometimes its a day.

Has anyone else had these problems?

I've never had or seen this problem on the forums. You probably have a faulty microSD card or microSD card reader. Take it into Verizon and they'll most likely let you try out a new microSD card. If that doesn't work, they may even give you a brand new Galaxy Nexus. I can't imagine them doing anything different. Good luck!
 
i think the guy above meant New Sim card and not microSD card.

Yeah sounds like you have may have a sim card issue. Just go to the store :)
