Help "No SIM" message? Help?

My wife's Note 3 has displayed a "No SIM Card" message twice now in two days. Rebooting removed the error and restored functionality. Should I ask Verizon to replace the SIM card or is this a defective phone?

Also, my phone powers up after holding the power button for about 2 seconds. Hers takes about 7 or so seconds. Normal?

Thanks.

Before you go back to Verizon try powering off, then taking off the back cover and removing the Sim card and battery on her phone. Then put them back making sure everything lines up correctly. Something might be loose.

Agreed!

I used to get that with the Droid DNA. Turns out I wasn't closing the sim tray all the way. Usually these things are user error. Just double check the sim is seated properly.
