Help No sms when roaming

I have tried changing all the settings, but my HD will not receive sms messages when roaming overseas. There is a little "R" next to the signal strength indicator when roaming. SMS at my home country works just fine. Any ideas ?

Does your message centre number have the +44 in front of it, or is it 0XXXX?

Also just checking but have you asked your network operator to activate full "roaming" on your account? The R normally just means you are picking up a signal but your operator needs permit services.
