Help no sound from caller only speaker phone

I can no longer hear the caller through headset, only speaker phone. Everything was fine until a few minutes ago. Anyone else having this issue?

Yes, all Bionics have failed due to an alignment of the stars. Well, probably not. Have you tried turning your phone off and back on?

yes, I have checked the stars and alignment is due on the 21 of december I have rebooted a couple of times. strange thing is, I cancelled my warranty status yesterday since the price has dropped...figures.
oh well, I still have speaker phone...for now.

Did you upgrade to ICS? If you did ... did you do a Factory Data Reset?

What happens if you plug in a set of headphones - do you hear anything then? What happens if you press VolUp while in a call - is there a chance that the volume was turned all of the way down?

no good with buds. volume is up all the way.
I just did a factory reset and it is working now.

I think I may have figured it out. Sometime today Verizon switch to 4g in my area. Oh yeah I now have 4G. Sound is back and I'm happy.

I had this issue a while back. I downloaded "Wired Headset Routing Fix" and my phone worked again.
