Help No sound

Hi guys

My friend has just had a HTC sensation (I am a desire user) A couple of hours in to using it, he has lost all sound. I have checked all of the settings but everything is correct. Any ideas?

I get this problem after running the talking Tom app. It usually crashes killing all sound. Have to restart the phone then all is ok.
 
Yeah he took battery out and it Was ok. He hasn't got talking tom though. It seems to get really got too. Much hotter than my desire
