No speech to text?

This isn't particularly something I use, but I noticed today that it doesn't. Is it a 2.1 thing, as it worked on my old hero...

Is this build of 2.1 just missing the voice recognition files or something? Any way of getting it working?

Add Voice Search To HTC Phones Nimbu

its not on the desire as standard, you have to install it.
there is also an app on the marketplace that is similar, (it may be the same thing)
