Root No "Superuser" after custom recovery?

Hi all.

Just followed the instructions to S-OFF and root my desire, but, Im not entirely sure it has worked. I dont have a "Superuser" icon in the app drawer, and my memory is no less full than before I performed the custom recovery.....

Can anyone tell me how I can check, and where I may have gone wrong.

Sorry for the noob questions, and thanks in advance for your advice and patience!

Folks, apologies, all sorted, looks like I hadnt performed the recovery correctly, Just don it again, and all seems fine, Superuser is there.
