no update?

I'm trying to help my friend out. He isn't getting the update option, and he said he had 4 options and none of them showed an update, can anyone suggest what I should do to get the froyo update?
 
The release for 2.2 was August 3rd but HTC also stated more will be pushed out towards the middle of August, so maybe he didnt get lucky with the first push?
