Help No USB Charge?

I see you can buy USB charging cables (purportedly) for an A500 but if I plug the unit into my PC there's no charging. Also tried with my blackberry mains charger (micro USB from wall) and no charging.

Has anyone got USB charging to work? The supplied mains charger cable is so short it's almost useless.

None currently do, since the voltage and throughput will not charge a big tablet battery under eight to ten hours at best. Some tabs may offer a trickle charge, but no full charge.

That's disappointing but at least mine's not faulty so that's a good thing.
