No User Memory allocated after factory data reset

Hi,

I've been searching for an answer to this all day, I've either over complicated it or I'm asking for the wrong thing...

Basically I got a MID tablet with Android 2.3 (i'll put full details on later the tablet is at home).

The wifi would not stay connected (it obtained the address then disabled it and continued with that cycle).

I used the menu\settings\factory data reset option.

Once completed the wifi worked fine, then I noticed the user memory allocation was 0.0kb, this was previously 2gb... system memory remains the same.

There is now a notificaiton stating the drive is disconnected.

I assume the seller had put some applications on (and created the user partition) and my reset has wiped that..

How can I reallocate/partition (get back!) the memory that appears to be missing?

Assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

I have a sylvania tablet running 2.2 and I did a factor reset and now it is telling me I have 0 internal memory and also it will not mount my micro SD card. Please advise

Thanks

I assume both of these devices are cheapo China Pads. Buggy software most likely. Sometimes updates and fixes are available from manufacturer's websites(if you can find them). The ability to read technical Chinese often helps here as well.
