Whenever I turn my phone on vibrate mode, it never vibrates when I receive a text. What is the deal?

I am rooted running 2.1 if that makes a difference. This is an annoying problem. I end up missing texts and calls all the time because it doesn't vibrate.

Do you have the actual setting in your messenger app set up for Vibrate? I know I had to set this up and mine is working just fine.

Thanks guys! The Vibrate option wasn't checked in the settings....guess I should have checked that first LOL.
