Help No vibration for texts?!

Anyone managed to get their Legend to vibrate when it receives a txt? A pretty essential feature as I keep missing them and have to poll the phone repeatedly (due to the 'green light only blinks for 5 minutes' feature which I really hope gets fixed soon).

Yes, I have the "Received Messages/Vibrate" ticked but it never does. Calls, haptic feedback on keyboard etc work fine so it's not a problem with the vibrate hardware.

Mine vibrates for texts out of the box.

Loads of people have reported this (judging by a quick Google search) and I've fixed it by installing the "Sound Manager" app as suggested in a post from another section of Androidforums.

When I brought up the Vibration Settings, the "Vibrate for Notifications" was set to "Don't Vibrate". I've changed it and it works a treat.

I guess some app or other had forced it off, despite the SMS options saying it was enabled. Problem solved!

Download and install the app sound manager, it will fix the problem
