Help No vibration when gmail notifications are received

Issue: As of this morning, phone no longer vibrates when Gmail notifications are received.

-Gmail seems to be working properly and I have sent many test emails from a PC after trying everything I could think of, still no vibration when emails are received.

-Notifications are enabled and working in Gmail settings.

-Text message and call vibrations all work fine, thankfully!

-Doesn't work on ANY vibration settings (always, only when silent, only when not silent).

-Adjusting the vibration intensity did not fix the problem.

-I restarted the phone twice, removed all apps installed recently, checked all other options I could think of, and googled the shit out of the issue to no avail. Not sure if I missed an overnight update or something, but the phone seems to be working perfectly otherwise.

What am I missing?? Anyone else ever have this problem?

Thanks in advance!

In the email app, tap menu/more/account settings

Then scroll down to notification settings where there should be an option to set phone to vibrate when email arrives.

If that doesn't work, then have no idea.

Its actually gmail, menu, settings, select account, labels to notify.
Here you can set sound and vibrate.

Yes! That's where it was hiding. Thanks a ton... no idea how it could have gotten turned off on its own but I'll take that over having to send the phone in.

Many thanks.

Sorry... Didn't notice about the Gmail. There are 2 apps and I use the stock email instead of gmail. The stock email allows me to set up multiple accounts. Not sure bout gmail since I used the stock to check gmail as well.

Principle is generally the same I guess... That the vibration setting is found in the app itself.

Cheers
