Lurker
so i was listening to music on pandora when the sound went super blurry, took the headphones out and the phone still sounded like crap with all noise-games, tones, alerts etc.. restarted the phone and now there is no sound at all, played with all the setting and still nada. the head phones have a small cut in the wire and was wondering if somehow a short could have destroyed my sound circuit/driver? idk, not being able to hear people during calls kinda makes this a useless device.

im guessing its the headphones,, you can try dsp manager on the market for better audio quality out of the speakers

I had this happen to my OG Droid. I brought it back to the store and they did a warranty exchange. Just to be clear, anything on headphones or external speaker sounded like the speaker was blown but the phone earpiece worked fine on mine.

thanks for the info. the sound out of all speakers do sound like they are blown out, the speakers, earpiece for phone calls and the audio jack and thats if they work at all. for the most part there is no volume.
