Well I found out today that Samsung will not honor my warranty. Let me explain, My college held a series of performance based competitions and I was fortunate enough to win a Galaxy Note. But all I received was the phone and the battery. I was using the same rocketfish charging cable that I used on my EVO, but it couldn't handle the larger battery and finally died. So I took the phone to ATT and was told that without proof of purchase they could do nothing for me me (except check the esn and sign me to a 2 year contract), and to contact Samsung. So I sent Samsung a moving email about the phone and how it came to be mine, hoping they would be generous enough to send me everything else that comes with a brand new unit. But, alas, they thanked me for my interested but declined to help. So noe I have to buy the s-pen, charging cable, and data cable on my own. I guess I shouldn't complain since it is a free phone. but now I'm having pixel issues and need to send the phone in for warranty repair, but without prof of purchase they won't touch it...
