Help No Wifi or Bluetooth

Hi all

I have a Note 2 on the 3 network. It's running a stock rom and 4.1.2 jellybean. I tied to connect to my wifi throught the settings and after a couple of seconds it toggles back off with out connecting to routers I always use. I tried going through the settings and it's not even showing any available networks or letting me scan for networks. It's exactly the same with the bluetooth. I've tried searching the net to see what the problem is to no avail. I rarely use the wifi or bluetooth but it's a litle annoying that they don't work. I haven't changed any settings from the last time I used wifi or bluetooth.

Have you tried connecting to other public Wi-Fi networks? Did you try connecting Bluetooth with other peripherals or computer/notebook?

If it still doesn't work, as a last resort, try a factory reset. But this will wipe all data on the device.

If it still fails after that, you might actually have defective hardware that requires repair.

Thanks for the reply. I called my carrier today to get some technical support. They told me I needed a factory reset as it was a problem with the software. Did the reset and the problem is still there.

I tried the wifi in two different places and it doesn't even show any networks in either place. The wifi seems to be trying to turn itself on but then stops and then tries agian.

The bluetooth won't come on to try to connect to another device. I got a friend to try and send me someting via bluetooth and nothing appeared on my phone and he got a message saying it was rejected. I can't even go in to change the name of my device.

Seems like it is a hardware problem unfortunately.
