Do any of you know if an access point (AP) emulator tether has come out for the Eris yet? Although my tether works just fine for my laptop, I can't use if for my Kindle as the Kindle won't connect to an ad-hoc WIFI setup.
I found SUCCESS! Wireless tether in AP Mode (NOT ad-hoc) + WPA2 Encryption - xda-developers by samwathegreat, but it specifically states it's only for the Incredible.
...And I like the idea of WPA2 Encryption also
