Lurker
hi, for xmas 2010 i got a new galaxy 5, i do really like the android OS, on boxing day i updated the firmware to the lates version succesfully (using samsung kies) and its been working fine (apart from that bug where the wifi keeps diconecting) and today (27th dec 2010) i was using my phone for skype (plugged into laptop via usb for power and using the headset that came with the phone) i was using it for 30mins when my internet cut out ( due to it being crappy talk-talk) and i went to use the phone and found it was extreamly hot and frozen  !!! abyway i left it with the battery out to cool down and i came back around an hour later (can i just point out after taking the battery out to make it work again it was not booting THEN i left it to cool down) any way it put the battery in and it semi booted by which i mean it displayed the samsung logo, but with a box made out of #'s and in that box it said somthing abot dumping RAM, so i left it todo its thing and came back an hour later and it was frozen, so i took the battery out, put it back in put the case on and tryed it ...
dead as a do-do, at which point i got worried and have since tried taking the batter out and in again, tried different combinatios e.g. power in + battery in, power in + battery out ... anyway im now leaving it to charge hoping that will help, any help would be greatly appreciated.
