Help Non-Stop Rebooting

Yeah so, im new here. But I've had a DROIDX for quite a while now. And for a few months now it will just reboot whenever it feels like and now today it rebooted and stayed at the red droid symbol for about 30 minutes. Any ideas or anything?? :/

Stock, rooted or custom rom?

Might be a good time to do a factory reset (under settings, privacy I think), which means returning your phone to the way it was when you opened the box. As long as you use the same Google account, your paid apps, contacts and settings will return.
