Rooted the phone last night, running das bamf 1.6. The phone will not stop syncing. I've turned sync off for everything but Google and Facebook, and neither off those programs are currently syncing, so that's not it. I read somewhere that the cause might be titanium backup, that restoring apps and system data causes this. Any truth to this? Any idea how to make it stop? Do I run a restore again with just apps? Do I have to wipe anything before doing that? Any info would be helpful, thanks!

Root non stop sync caused by titanium?

Did you use the Bamf toolkit to remove any system apps? Specifically the Friendstream app? That appears to cause continuous syncing if you still have a FB account linked to your phone. Even though it isn't facebook doing the syncing... Anyway, apparently the fix right now is to re-flash Das Bamf and not remove Friendstream. Just thought I'd check to see if that was the cause for you as well.
I did indeed remove friendstream. I did a factory reset but I didn't reflash the rom, so I think friendstream is still removed. Syncing stopped for a while but soon started cycling again, without any sort of end in site. I'll reflash and see if that fixes it, thanks for the tip.

htc sync which is included in the bamf roms causes a lot of sync issues as well, i'd disable sync on that if its currently enabled. i dont use any of the sense social networking options, just the facebook and twitter apps themselves...
