hello
when I create my first activity and run it it runs fine
but when I create a button to link into my second activivty
it comes up with an error (app has stopped)
and the guide I am following tells me to cast the button, but on pressing cntrl and 1 there is no option for this so I just hard code the cast into the line of code and continue with no errors
I run the app and the first activity comes up , but when I press the button to go to the second activity it tells me my app has stopped .
been through this about a dozen times and still get the same result
Has the fact that I hard coded (button) into the cast of the button messed my app up..
this is not going to beat me
please go gentle on the android geek speak this is my first day so it will all be Russian to me!
