Root noob help stuck on backside rom start

Hi all,
I thought things were going well on my first rom, backside for optimus v. When I tried to load it, the phone has been stuck at the boot screen with the android logo and green sparks circling around it. How do get out of this? No buttons seem to work. Thanks in advance!

How long has it been doing that?? Sometimes 5 or so minutes is required for it to boot for the first time. If it's more than 10 minutes, go ahead and pull the battery and reboot. You should be good to go after that. If the same thing happens, you may need to reformat and reflash the ROM. It happens sometimes.

This is usually due to not formatting cache, boot, system, and data when migrating from a different ROM.
