well it's easy.. but wont be easy the first time.. lol..

first you need to obtain root on the device and successfully install a custom recovery, now boot to recovery and make a backup :D

once finished you can reboot device normally, then connect it to a pc via usb "mount storage" mode, on your pc find directory on sd card for the backup file made of the stock/rooted device... in it you will find your system.tar file and a boot.img (along with other things but this is all you need)

open the system.tar file with a program like 7zip and extract the 'system' folder onto your desktop (that is your rom guts/system right there..)

so now at this point you have the stock boot.img and your rom's system files for your device :D

luckily for you we already have custom roms so you can easily grab the META-INF folder from one to use ;) (i dont know how to generate install scripts..)

so now you have your rom base with installer-script

take the META-INF, system & boot.img and send them inot a .zip folder

what you have right now will not boot, we need to make some changes using dsixds'a android kitchen for the last steps..

take your newly made rom.zip file and place it in the kitchen where needed, then use kitchen to extract rom, add root to boot.img, minfree tweaks if desired then lastly, de-odex apps & framework. now you have a use-able system & boot.img.

from here you can either take what you have and re-zip into working rom or start adding tweaks and mods for the rom...

any rom.zip generated from the kitchen will 99% of the time not flash on your device lol so it's best to just take the finished project from kitchen and re-pack it all yourself (using original META-INF folder, NOT the one generated from kitchen, but you may need to examine it to add any lines needed for changes made by the kitchen ie: data/app functionality) into a zip file, then sign it :D

i kno i made it sound easy but i just gave you the 'basics' now just open google and become reallll friendly with it lol

Damn buddy where u been forgot to mention drift as well seems him and pg are the most active on roms and what not. lol i managed to create sort of my own theme but i cheated :( im using a go launcher theme then i used uot kitchen to change time color to green like my theme and used rom tools pro to change icons lol anyways even themeing is a lil complicated and time consuming everyone tells me just take one folder and swap files from one apk to another. maybe ya can make a script to swap one folder's content to another folder's content without doing it manually.
