Noob Overwhelmed!

Just made the switch, I was a long time WinMo user and made the jump from a TP2 to the Evo. I am a pretty tech savvy person but I had no idea where 2 start customizing the Evo. I would just like some tips on changing some of the UI looks, nothing major, and maybe some of your fav. mods. Thanks in advance.

Well if you want a drastic change from Htc Sense then grab Launcher Pro off the Market. It's neato and changes your whole homescreen setup.

As a former Mogul WinMo user, too, welcome to the wonderful world of EVO and Android! One thing you might want to start with is "rooting" your phone to give you full permissions to make as many mods as you'd like -- including trying out other ROMS. The easiest way to do that, for me, was going to unrevoked3 recovery reflash tool, v3.21.
