Noob question about yakju

Ok sorry to be a noob but how do i tell what build i have

I keep reading about yakju updates and muargo (?) And another similar to yakju

I thought galaxy nexus would receive all updates from google but i read somewhere some are done by samsung


Help a noob out please brothers and sisters

go to settings then to about phone it will list what type of phone version you have kernal and all that jazz

Still on 4.0.2 though
