This is exactly what happened to some Evo 3D users except their bootloaders weren't unlocked. HTC's solution was to run the RUU.exe for the same build that they had already installed via OTA.with my old phone, I did the 1.14 OTA update. Decided to HTC Unlock days later and it did not reboot. It just stays there at the unlock bootloader screen. it didn't reboot like it should when I hit the power button after selecting yes. I could move between yes and no but hitting on the power button does nothing. Had to pull the battery, and rebooted phone, checked bootloader and saw it was unlocked. but what happened was not what it was supposed to do
That's also one reason why I include flashing the RUU.exe as part of my guide for rooting and S-OFF.
