I planning on upgrading to the Gs4 soon do I need to be on a sense Rom to change my number to the gs4

Your phone number? no, your carrier will transfer that. It won't matter what rom you are on.
For example, when I had Decks reloaded running on my Evo, then upgraded to the S3, it didn't matter what rom was on the phone.

you only need to be on a sense rom if they need to re-provision your phone....not a future phone.....LOL

you are good with what you have, unless you plan on trading it in for some credit. if not do not worry about your og evo.
