Noob rooting question

How easy is it to unroot a phone after trying a custom ROM? One of the advantages to the plan I've got is free insurance on the phone, but rooting it will, of course, void that.

un-rooting is easier than rooting. If you read the guide posted in this forum, there's mention of a program called "RUU". Run that, and you're back to stock, un-rooted.
