Root Noob who lost root after OTA

Greetings all. I'm a noob who recently rooted my Pantech Marauder phone. I rooted using ICS Root Unlocker 1.0. After the recent Verizon software update OTA this week, I no longer have root on my phone.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I could go about restoring root access to my phone?

I tried the factory reset; however, it resets to the new OTA update. ICS root does not work anymore.

I've also tired Z4Root, and that doesn't work either.

This post here seems to indicate that folks aren't having much luck with flashboot, either: http://androidforums.com/marauder-a...attempting-develop-clockworkmod-marauder.html

Any thoughts? Or, do I need to wait and see if there is a new exploit and tool that comes out later on down the road?

Wtf, there was an OTA update?

Well, I'll be a son of a bitch, there is. Wonder how long my phone wanted to wait before telling me? Alright, I'll look into this. No promises. But hopefully this opens up something letting us get CWM on here.

I tried to update, before seeing the warning about root.
The update failed! Guess I got lucky.

BTW, this will be, without a doubt, the last phone I buy that doesn't have an active set of devs working on it.

The phone is rooted again, after the OTA and Jellybean updates. This is a perfectly capable phone, it was just never popular enough to get devs... I suppose we're lucky it can even be rooted.

I'm still trying to get CWM to work so we'd have that one more step closer.
