Root Nook Color Device Name

Hello. I am running the latest CM7 stable and have a question about the "device name" property.

Is it advisable to change the device name to something that will allow us to run more applications?

I often get messages from the market that certain app is not compatible with my NC, but when I side-load it, they work.

I remember someone posted a similar suggestion when everybody was trying to get the Netflix app to run in the NC.

Thanks for any suggestions.

That's asking for trouble IMO. You might fix one app, but break another and every time you edit the build.prop file you take a chance you might boot loop.
