Root Nook Color Root = More App Storage?

Hello. I'm thinking about running CM10 on my grandsons Nook Color because the apps available are too few and the app storage on the Nook is very minimal. If I run CM10, will it open up the partition and allow more apps (games) to be stored on the Nook?
