Root nook color triple boot

I have a nook color triple boot on a 16 gig sd w/ gingerbread 2.3.7 and ics. I have been using gb for about 2 months w/ no problem and all of a sudden everything is force closing when I go in. acor/ggap/launcher and a ton more. I cant access anything because they don't stop. Is there another way to get into it and fix this problem? Already changed permissions w/ clockwork mod and no change. Any help would be great as I know nothing about android.

How old is your card. When you run a rom off the sdcard, chances are good it will fail after a year or so. That's why I've never been a fan of sdcard installs, except for testing a new rom.

You could try clearing cache and fixing permissions.

I've only had it for about 2 months. What happens if I do a factory reset? Does that only affect the sd or will it mess with the b & n side? I already fixed permissions and it said error when I tried cleaning the cache.

Factory reset will clear your data and apps. It's like a new install. B&N uses internal storage, not the sdcard.

To format the sdcard, that's a separate setting. It might be a checkbox after you tap on Factory Reset.

Is only one rom acting up? What did you use to clear cache?

Ok, so factory reset will clear everything, and restore cm7 amd cm9 to the way i started? I don't want to format, I know that will delete my programs. I don't care if I lose all my apps, easy to get back. I just lost ICS also, it just displays the fractal screen, or whatever, in a loop. I used clockwork recovery to fix permissions, but it returned with the error to clean the cache. What is my easiest fix. Reset or to re flash.

Reset. Reflashing doesn't delete your apps or settings.

What brand/speed of card are you using?

Hope you didn't go with a super fast expensive card. A cheap Sandisk class 4 disk is best for this type of use. Fast cards are optimized for writing large files, like pictures and video... not the type of use we have (small files and random access).

I'ts a Sandisk 4. How do I reflash? Oh, btw, thank you for your response and your help. Im 43, I work, I have a small child and I'm busy. I don't have the time to do hours of research and be on the pc all day learning this stuff even though I want to. so help from anyone that is simple and to the point is great.

Reflash? Don't know. How did you flash in the first place? I've only seen guides for one rom on a sdcard. (Not a fan of sdcard roms. Too finicky and fragile as you found out.) :D

I suggested a factory reset, since I thought reflashing wouldn't help.

Settings.... privacy.... factory reset. I wouldn't check the sdcard checkbox.
