Noreve Case released, king fail

Noreve's S2 case is now available, and it has 2 fatal flaws, no fabric covering the lens, and a front flap that will probably be loose and useless after 1 week.
Extremely disappointed, must have been a rushed job.
Leather case for Samsung GT-i9100 Galaxy S II Tradition | Noreve - Haute Couture for Mobile Devices

I don't see how I'm supposed to believe it will always be a tight and reliable closing system.

Am I wrong?

I'm going to get one anyway, I can only assume they know what they're doing and it just looks bad.

I'd wait, wait for feedback. Of course, this only works if other people don't so go ahead, buy it and tell us what it's like :)

Ah. Yes. The trials and tribulations of being in a debut market. Lucky for us in the US, we get to wait ~6 months for the cases to be perfected before we get a chance to buy such spectacular hardware. We're so fortunate. ;)

Another GS2 case has been added to the upcoming products list on Noreve, and like with other second release cases it's labelled as a 'Tradition C' (as opposed to just Tradition).

From the looks of the other Tradition Cs, it will be a pouch style case.

Yes. It's ok and the closure works fine, as in my first post it just looked scary. My last phone had the case folding upwards and I was bored of that so I was looking forward to the drop down style, which looks better in the eyes of anyone who happens to be looking my way (eg the flip up style is a little dorky to be holding against your head).

The only true letdown is the lack of camera cover but this is a side effect of having the drop down flap, but I'm going to come up with some kind of removable insert to protect the camera, I'd use blu-tak but I think there is a chance it could pluck the gorilla glass square out of the phone.

If any other company comes up with something better I'll get that.
For younger players: all in all these cases wear out like any other fabric, they aren't superheroes just because they are $75+, you're just paying for the exclusivity and the attractive but thin coating on top of the skin, but that's how I roll.

Not all of us in the USA are waiting. I have purchased three SG2 units:o
