Just a thought, maybe nobody knows the answer?
I know it's sucky when you have a problem that nobody can help with, I've been there.

But instead of making a new thread full of capitals, simply make a post in your other thread saying "Bump'

Iv paired the xperia s to my laptop n also tried it on the imac but still no luck. Also when i do pair the xperia s in the bluetooth section on the xperia it says under the laptop or imac 'PAIRED BUT NOT CONNECTED' has any1 else tried sending or receiving a image from the pc to the xperia s and had same bluetooth problems??? Please do reply i will be greatfull thanks.

I gave it a try on my win7 ultimate Dell laptop, the BT paired but would not connect, I'm guessing that pcc does not connect to android phones using BT is the problem.

have you tried to send and receive a picture to and from the xperia s to your laptop/desktop. and is there a solution to solve this problem like anyway to sort this out so the bluetooth works????

I did try to send a picture but it didn't work, what I did notice though is the " My Phone Explorer app " was waiting to connect, maybe you could try that and see if it works for you, it's free from the play store.

downloaded the app and it still doesnt work. its soo annoying now lets see if this forum can really solve problems. i cant be the only 1 who has realised there is a problem with the bluetooth for the xperia s.

Did you download the pc app that goes with it?

I've heard problems about pairing Android with machintosh computers. Seems like Apple and Google just doesn't play catch together with this bluetooth connection thing.. You will actually be better off with something like Google Crive or Dropbox. They work really well, are faster and really simple to use. Of course the most important files I'd leave for direct usb-cable connection :)

Del wat is the full app name for the pc coz i didnt down load that. And bigb what did u do to make it work did you use an app or just straight forward bluetooth conection and how please tell me.

hi iv downloaded the latest MYPHONEEXPLORER 1.8.2 on to my laptop and downloaded the app on my xperia s followed the instructions in how to connect. if i use usb it will connect. if i use wifi it will connect but iv tried soo many times to connect via bluetooth but it comes up after attempting to connect to the phone ''ERROR CONNECTION COULD NOT BE ESTABLISHED'' so now back to square 1. what shall i do????

Tbh I don't know as I never use bt for file transfer, maybe someone else will be along with some help.

Why are you insisting on using bluetooth?

I was thinking that myself, however I tried installing bt again last night and I managed to get it partly working, I could send stuff from my laptop to my phone but not the other way, when I looked at the drivers for bt on my laptop it said that the bt peripheral device driver had not installed and windows could not find it?
After a little searching I found that this is an issue with some people with various sony ericsson phones which has not been solved yet

Im really sorry for being a pest but the reason y i want to make sure if the bluetooth works so i know if the phones faulty cause spending nearly

Not many phones then? ;-)

I'm pretty sure no software ever is going to be perfect.

I do understand you wanting to check though.

Does the bt work on it?

Also the SXS isn't really designed to work the way you wanted it to via bt, from what I have read your pc was connecting as if it were a headset, Sony would rather us use WiFi but hey enjoy your new toy
