Help Not able to play video files

Hi all,

I am trying to play a dvdrip film of 700mb in my X10 mini pro. I have downloaded Meridian player for it. when I tried to play it, the screen goes blank and then i got a message, Meridian is not responding. Force stop or wait.

Kindly advice whether it is because of the 128MB ram size? If so, is there any converter i can use to reduce the size?

I use Magic Video Converter. I convert the video file in my pc first then save it in my SD card.
