Help Not able to restore 2.1 using ROM manager

I downloaded axura2.2.5.6 and used ROM manager to install it. I backed up current ROM (TMO stock 2.1)( as the ROM manager prompts and suggests) while installing axura. Now when i restore 2.1 using the ROM manger, it shows that i restores the backup and after reboot the screen is completely black except the glass lock screen and i'm unable to unlock the screen. . It also does not recognize the network. the lock screen just keep disappearing and reappearing and does not do anything. Don't know what i should be doing next?

Is it that i cannot go from axura 2.2.5.6 to stock 2.1 using ROM Manager? What is the solution?

I had the same problem. Not too difficult. Use ODIN on your desktop computer or laptop to flash the ROM onto the phone. Here's a walkthrough.
