Not Charging, Not reconizing USB

My phone seems to not want to charge. And when I hook it up to the USB port on my PC the PC says its not recognized. Once in awhile it will charge. Just started doing this yesterday. Any ideas?

Try a new cable, borrow one or buy this one that I bought for 3 dollars including shipping.

I have tried mine, a few from work(I work at a Boost Store) and my car charger, none of them work right. Right now I have it off and hooked to my PC, it keeps flashing Samsung and shows the battery, the green part is getting thicker so I assume its charging.

How much $ was it to get done. Having that issue with an Ultra and a kindle fire. Playing games while plugg up is what I think caused it over here.

im sorry to hear that mine is doing the same... its about 75 to 60 dollars to fix it... but if you could do it yourself its cheaper
