Root Not enough room for installer image on 4 GB card??

I'm trying to download and install CM7 to root our Nook Color and am already hung-up. I tried WinImage and had problems. Now using Win32 Disk Imager it says there's not enough room on the empty SD card to write the 'generic-sdcard.img' file.

What am I doing wrong? I'm using the card reader built into my laptop - would that mess things up?

Nevermind - sure enough, it was the built in card reader on my laptop that was the problem. Used a usb card reader and it wrote with no problems.
