Help Not Enough Storage Space??

welbinator

Android Enthusiast
so shortly after I bought my phone, I encountered an error after trying to install an app that said something to the effect of not enough storage space, try deleting some apps and try again. I had only downloaded a couple apps and was naturally disturbed by this message, however being a test tech I naturally wanted to make sure I had a hard failure here, and I tried again without deleting any apps, just clicked install again, and this time it worked. Since then I have encountered this error message a few times, and everytime I just try again and it works.

I guess it's not a big deal, since it always ends up working the second try, but it is kind of annoying. Anyone else experience this?

I usually have this issue with large programs. Never happens on smaller programs. Never thought about deleting the market cache but like welbinator the 2nd time works so I normally ignore it.

Actually:

Settings --> Applications --> Manage applications --> All tab --> Market --> Clear Cache button

Don't use Clear Data b/c then you'll have to accept the market terms and select a Google account to associate with Market (if you have ore than one Google account on the device).
