Not getting any app updates

So, its been going on for a little while now. But I haven't had an update notice for my phone for maybe a week now. Anyone else having this issue?

I have automatic updates turned off, but you can click your menu button and select your apps manually to check for updates from the Play Store.

I have auto updates off also, but I was at least getting a notice from Google Play when there was an update. Yesterday, I removed the battery, put it back in then got the notification. I will see if that continues.
