Help Not getting incoming call when data mode is active

Hello all, I got a new galaxy SL 1 month back and using vodafone data plan in india. till last week it was working fine both data as well as voice call. But from last two days i am not getting incoming call if my data mode is active; but if i get call if i switched off the data mode.

Is this problem with the network provider (vodafone) or problem with my handset.

please help.

Seems weird you should get calls no matter what mode of data is activated, i've noticed that when you are on "E" edge when calls comes your packet data E symbol on top vanishes(beause 2G network wont carry both packet and voice at same time) and comes again when call is ended on the other hand when you are on "H" HSDPA or "3G" data connectivity remains intact even on running call, BTW i'm on Airtel India HSDPA network.

i have bought galaxy mini POP (GT S5570). If i want to use surf, i just go settings>mobile networks>disable restrict to 2G (save baterry) + enable data packet over mobile network.......then got problem, i never receive phone calls!!! friends, colleague never find be available as long as DATA packet switched ON!!! they received busy signal.

if i switched off data packaet...incoming calls are OK.

what is this problem? any idea or solutions?
my carrier is AXIATA (bangladesh)

may be in downloading mode, i got problem?
