Help Not getting the enough Battery backup

I purchased a brand new LG optimus P500. still i am not connected to the net by my phone due to some technical problems of the network provider... though i am not using phone much it is giving me the battery life for only 12 hrs can any one give me some solution what to do,,...? i am bugged up to charge my battery daily..

hi guys..
I'm using p500 since one month..IT IS VERY AWESOME MOBILE.... * * * * *

at the starting days i got only 5 Hrs Battery backup without using gprs...
for tht i went to authorised lg service center, and thy changed da borard of it

thn i made some settings on it..
kept the brightness below 50% at the day time,, and at the ni8 time kept in 0-5%
and i putted setting to kill de tasks for every 1/2 Hr. at "ADVANCED TASK KILLER APP."

after tht i'm getting 24 Hrs battery backup while using gprs(background) along with listen songs to..
and while without using gprs (standby) i'm getting 60 Hrs( 2 & 1/2 days ) including takking calls...
