Help Not liking my desire

Recently my desire has turned ugly. IT IS SOOOOOO SLOOOOOW its unbearable anymore.
Any tips on how to make it faster?

I turn it off and on regulary

I also use task killer, to kill most apps when i close the screan

any tips will help alot

Read the link I posted.

No it doesn't/ its supposed to but they do the opposite. you don't need a task killer, even if they did what they were supposed to.
 
Depends on what you have on your phone I think. I had Thunder storm live wall paper and it really slowed my phone down. Loved it but had to get rid of it and it is fast again. I use Launcher pro Plus as well so it is very fast. So some apps can slow it right down if you are not careful. I hope you find the problem so you start to love your phone again..
 
You have your phone set to turn all the apps off when you turn off the screen. Which means it has to start lots of them up again when you turn the screen back on and do stuff. That isn't going to make the phone quicker.

Task killers are utterly pointless. You only need to close an app if it's particularly badly designed, and if that's the case you can do so using software already on the phone. Task killers just give the phone more work to do.

Always the same complaints from users with task killers. Arrogance :p
Have you thought maybe your phone doesn't like u either ;)

Can we please please please make a sticky somewhere obvious noting that task killers are simply not necessary on a Desire?

I wasted a lot of time during my first week or two downloading and using these pointless applications.
