Not one but two free eris's

absolutely! just havin fun. I mean, seriously....I would have sold it...........

So I called right away! Im not married, but i have asked my girl numerous times if she wanted an eris. I want her to have one but she just dosnt want one.............so i would either keep it incase mine broke or sell it

lol but since we all have at least a bit of common sense, I think we all know you need to add service to it. But it was worth calling and asking :p
actually, you have to activate it within thirty days or else there's an activation fee. otherwise there's no fee. but, since xmas is three weeks away, i'm all set.

So I just came back from Verizon and got a price adjustment on a pair of Erises I bought two weeks ago. Was pretty easy, in and out in 10 minutes.

Also asked if I were to get the offer today would I still need to pay anything up front for the second phone besides taxes and they said I'd still have to pay the $99 in store and then do the mail in rebate afterwards. So it is free (if you exclude taxes and throw out the month or two wait for your rebate card).

Why am I reading $99.99 after $100.00 mail in debit card? I can't find anything with it being $99.99 plus $100.00 mail in

Who cares if the phone is free? Big freakin deal. The cost of the phone is nothing compared to the monthly bills (whatever voice plan + the $30 data plan PER phone) you will endure for 2 years....

and your point is what? i already had a family plan, i already had a data plan, i already had multiple lines on my account. switching to these phones only costs me an extra thirty a month on a bill i was going to pay anyway. if you know of a smart phone or any phone with free service, let us all know.

i mean, who ever buys these phones I think are fully aware of the charges. At least I hope so.......I dont suggest buying a smart phone that requires a data plan if you dont have the money. that's your bad..

im not crazy about verizons plans, but i do love my phone :)

Hey everyone, run don't walk, run to a Verizon store or call customer service as fast as you can if you got an Eris or Moto droid in the last thirty days. I bought my first one three weeks ago online and with my new every two credit and the online discount it was free! Now they are running a deal this weekend only BOGO on Eris and Moto droids and they are honoring purchases up to thirty days ago. So now I just got off the phone with them and got my wife an Eris for free!!! Two droids, no charge.:D:D:D:D:D What an awesome deal on a very good phone. Also the customer rep confirmed the updates for the Eris to 2.0 OS in Dec and Jan.

Keep waiting for 2.0. Verizon Customer Care lies guys. Go to Engadget, where you will find Verizon stating that it will come first quarter of 2010. That means they have until APRIL 1st to meet their goal.

Sounds like the original Storm all over again. Here comes an update... oh, no it's not. Here it comes! crap, failed testing. How about now? Crap, lets just sell the Storm 2.

Yeah, I just posted about this. I think I'm going to cancel the other Eris that is coming our way. How nice of Verizon to give it to us! And to think, the lady actually wanted to charge me 20 dollars for an early upgrade because the 2nd line isn't technically eligible till January!

24 months at $30 ends up being $720 so just paying for the data plan pays for one Eris. So $1440 for two devices over two years. A long as you know how much in data plans your going to pay and you still want two Eris phones your good to go. Too bad it's not $30 for a shared unlimited data plan. (dreaming)
