Root Not receiving messages or call using Wifi Tether app help!! please

Hey everyone,
So i rooted my uncles HTC Evo
it has recovery
and stock rom
i sent him Wifi Tether
and when he uses it he doesnt receive messages or calls?
I dont know what to do or where to begin to solve the problem
i updated PRL and Profile
Please help thank you

What do you mean you sent him wifi tether?

The hacked baked in one always works for me. I dont like the one from the android market so i dont have a lot of experience with that one. It should stop the tether during the reception of a call or text

You have to download the non-sprint wifi tether app from its website

Have him go to: Home / menu / settings / call
Scroll down to other call settings and make sure DDTM mode is UNchecked.
Otherwise everything gets put on standby when you have an active data connection.
( I only turn it on if I'm downloading a large file )
