Have you tried clearing data from the message application? This type of problem could be caused by anything _ carrier's end - senders end - or internet connectivity problems.
Hopefully you'll get help on here to get this problem resolved.
I've been dealing with this for a couple days now. Its driving me INSANE. I got around 15+ pics sent to me yesterday from the wifey while she was out and about. I received ONE. I'm thinking its something on Metros side because I've been messing with it for days
