Help Not Receiving SMS Messages

My HTC Desire which I have with US Cellular is not receiving sms messages from one specific number. We both have US Cellular. They can receive mine but I cannot receive messages back. I receive messages from anyone else who texts my phone and their phone is the same way. For some reason I can't receive their text messages though. Can anyone tell me why? It is very frustrating.

It seems to me that the issue is with the sender in this case. Do you know what device s/he is using when texting you?

It is a Samsung Mesmerize. They just got it a couple days ago. Same provider as me and everything.

KChism, did you ever get this problem resolved? I purchased the HTC Desire with US Cellular last week and can send and receive messages fine from everyone, the other user on my account upgraded to the Samsung Mesmerize and can receive messages from everyone but me? Super frustrating!!
