Lurker
So, I recently got my new L9, and I quite like it. My first smartphone, and it's pretty good for its price. Called T-Mobile, got it all set up, but wanted to keep my number from my old phone, which was on Virgin. Thankfully, my plan on Virgin ran out the day of my doing that. So they gave me a temp number, and said it'd switch over within 24 hours, once they could swap the number over after it wasn't in use through Virgin. And very soon after, indeed it did switch over, and I was back to the number I've had for the past few years, on the new phone now with T-Mobile. Sweet. They said it'd all be good, work phone. My data works fine, I'm getting service, and I can send texts it seems, but I seem unable to receive any, as my friend somehow managed to get a text through to me this morning, and told me she was texting me at my original number as I told her to, now that it had switched, and that she never heard anything back. Thing is, I never got her texts at all. I sent a reply to her, and though it seems it went through, on my messages screen, there's an exclamation mark inside of a red triangle, what does this indicate? And yes, I've restarted my phone several times just to make sure that the changes would take effect in my number change and such. T-Mobile even sent me the messages to tell me that it all went successfully, and like I said, my data works fine, I can call and such, and send texts(?) it seems I just can't receive them; though I texted myself and it went through fine. Is this an issue with the device itself, or is it a carrier thing? I'm assuming the latter, and I'm assuming it's on my end, as up until the number switch, everything went through fine, and now I've got that red triangle and such happening. I'm also very new to Android, so forgive any derpiness of things I may have overlooked. But from what I've checked, everything should be working perfectly fine.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks ^.^
